ST.GEORGE'S JACOBITE SYRIAN CHURCH CHARITY SERVICE SCHEME

'Service to Mankind is Service to God'

St.George's Cathedral Charity Service Scheme was started as per the decision taken by the General Body on 26.02.1989, with the main aim of helping our Church members.

The services of the Scheme is a great help to all. They make it a point to visit and offer help to the families requiring financial and other needs on the death of the family members. The Scheme makes visits to patients and render their help in all possible ways. They lend a helping hand for those in need – whether it be helping out with marriages, medical help or even building homes for the poor.

Above all, the Scheme has led to the unity, love and camaraderie among the members of our Church, which has made our Cathedral's Charity Scheme the most popular one in the Diocese. It's services are innumerable and it has no doubt brought prestige to the Malankara Church.

At present, the President of the Charity Service Scheme is Rev. Fr. Shammy John Eramangalath and the Secretary is Mr.Babu Varghese.
