The Martha Mariyam Vanitha Samajam of St. George Jacobite Syrian Cathedral, Karingachira under the Cochin Diocese would like to bring out a brief details of its functions

A general election will be held on each year in presence of Vicars, Trustees to elect Executive members and committee members from Martha Mariyam Vanitha Samajam.

On each Wednesday the members will resemble in the Samajam room where there are Prayer Meeting, Bible reading, Bible Reference, Speech, Devotional songs and group songs, communications of fortunate and unfortunate events happening among members and witnessing of miracles happened through the prayer to the almighty.

Apart from this the cathedral is arranging a fasting prayer on every Saturday will be lead by eminent scholars with the full Co- Ordination of Martha Mariyam Samajam where its choir members showers melodious devotional songs to enhance the meeting to a full spiritual atmosphere.

According to diocese instruction the samajam participate its activities in central meeting with the presents uniform one day fasting.

We lend our hands to the charitable institutions like Thabeetha centre, Chithrapuzha, Pelikkan centre kulayettikara, Boys Home Vattapara, Girs Home Kakkanadu, Providon's Home, Kizhakkambalam, Mental rehabilitation centre Malayidom, Leprosy Hospital Koratty, Whose residents are abandoned by the beloved ones and the society.

The Martha Mariyam Vanitha Samajam takepart actively in Cathedrals all celebrations like Thamukku Perunnal, Geevarghese Sahada's ootu Perunnal (feast) Centenary Celebrations, Carol Night Programmers etc.

The students of Samajam members who tops in accademic curriculam and sports will be awarded price annually and used to encourage them.

The members when they celebrate individually on special occasions won't forget to extend their hands to do some charity program to the needy ones.
